Windows 10: Upgtaded to windows 10 yesterday

I upgraded to from windows 7 home to windows 10 home and kept personal files and folders my start page is similar to my windows 7 start page and it shows my windows 7 screen shot also shows word 2010 and windows live mail is this normal

Also i did the upgrade how can i create a windows 10 recovery copy.

How do i get word for windows 10 is it free or is word pad the replacement for word 2010 can i transfer my word document to note pad or word for windows 10

I actually had a client call yesterday with an email problem. when I tried walking him through some steps, he says "Yeah, I don't see that there, but I think it's because it's updated to windows 10. It did that a few weeks ago. I came back in on Monday, and it said Welcome to Windows 10"..... I think I'd throw the computer out the window.
