Windows 10: US-International keyboard QWERTY

I am in the process of setting up a new laptop. On my old one, I have the US-International keyboard installed, which makes it easy for me to type in French and other foreign languages. I am unable to find the setup as described in various responses in the message boards - I can find other languages, but nothing like the US-International keyboard. Where did it disappear to? How can I make it easy to add accents as I type?

I followed AnnBP’s instructions and it worked for me. I do not have a special Language pack.

When you get to “ADD a KEYBOARD" Click on that and then scroll down the list until you see
"United States – International QWERTY".
Click to add it to your language bar (should be in system tray)

The keyboard name is:

United States - International

QWERTY



In the system try it appears as:

ENG

English (United States)

Try again and good luck!

Go to Settings- Time and Language-Region and Language.

If you have English (united States) on your list, click on it. (Or add it and then click on it). Click on Options.

Next, click on Add a Keyboard. Scroll the list until you come to United States- International (QWERTY). Add it.
