USB Devices not Recognized In Windows 10 Enterprise Version 2004 Build 19041.388

I have noticed that my Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex external hard drive USB and my Logitech WebCam have stopped working. File Explorer shows a mapped drive for the external hard drive but, when clicking on the drive, I receive an error stating the drive isn't accessible. The Logitech Web Cam is not available for video calls involving Teams, Zoom or GoToMeeting.

I've tried removing the USB Root Hub and it reinstalls after reboot with the issue persisting. I also opened Device Manager and unchecked Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power on the USB root hub and other USB devices. This also did not resolve the issue.

What other configuration changes are needed to ensure my Dell XPS 8900 can successfully use these USB devices?

    :)

  2. Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

    • Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
    • Flashed BIOS to latest version
    • Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
    • Tried new USB cables

Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

    Thanks
