Windows 10: USB Drive Failing on Safe Removal in Windows 10 Pro

Windows 10 Pro x64 19042.928 Desktop--I7 10700 Custom Build, USB set for Better Peformance/Enable Write Caching for this Drive. Seagate 8TB Drive in USB Enclosure, been hours since i wrote to it--and still won't eject, problem is nothing should be using this drive I suppose i can change the option back to quick removal and restart system again, and see if its able to be removed then, and just deal with the slow writing to the SMR drive in that Enclosure if i have to

I have a Windows 10 Pro, but I can't safely remove all of my USB drives, because I receive the classic error message of something that doesn't let the USB drive removal.

At this moment, I have all of the features of Windows 10 Pro enabled, but I noticed that when I install Windows 10 Pro with the default Windows components installed I don't have the problem; if I activate all of the extra Windows features the problem happens.

I don't know if it's a bug of the Pro version, or some optional feature blocks the access to the USB drives; but the problem is to be able to identify the nature of the problem.

Do you have a suggestion?

I have a Windows 10 Pro, but I can't safely remove all of my USB drives, because I receive the classic error message of something that doesn't let the USB drive removal.

help. USB drive isn't assigned a drive letter.

Any usb flash drive I plug into my computer isn't assigned a drive letter. The physical drive shows in the "safely remove hardware" but it doesnt show up in disk management. I have tried to populate the volume thru the safely remove hardware properties window and it does pop up in the list but it doesn't stay there. This isn't a format or assign a letter problem. It's more complicated then that. Maybe one of the services needed for usb drive management was disabled? Suggestions needed. btw external usb harddrives work fine.
