Windows 10: USB for jumpstart compact flash not detected

USB driver for jumpstart for compact flash not detected- I went through the device manager and uninstalled all the drives and then did an update and driver still not detected

N8's USB OTG supports some things and not all.

For instance, it supports Kingston Pen Drive of 8 GB, etc.

But it won't support HP Drive of 4 GB.

Secondly, it only support some keyboards, not all.

So, I would suggest you get a different card reader from a friend and try...

Otherwise, use a SD to compact flash adapter, with a Micro SD Card and then use that card with card readers or Micro SD slot of your N8...

I'm trying to connect a Nikon camera with compact flash via usb to my N8. I get the message "usb not recognized".

I get the same when i remove the card and try to read it through a card reader.

Any help?

I don't know directly the answer to your question (like how USB on-the-go can be used) in this case, but you can probably utilize SD-to-Compact Flash adapter, with SD cards. For example
