Windows 10: usb keyboard mouse works in bios not in windows makes computer not useable

it happen on two refurbished computer with windows 10 my guess is software problem not hardware from reading about bad update one has amd3 motherboard 2.8gb22 2corecpu other is dell intel e5200 cpu 775 motherboard amd computer was able to do activation before breakdown plus has windows 10 code on case tried making usb reload for windows 10 on 3rd computer got breakdown code 0x80042405-0xa001a dell intel computer was broke fast never made it to activation afraid lost license no windows 10 code on case like other computer. These computers look refurbished clean inside fans and heatsink not pack full of dust and dirt like used computer any ideas to get computers working again

Mouse and keyboard don't work on Windows install

I have had this issue before luckily I have and old PS keyboard and mouse to use until windows loads. What version of windows are you trying to load? Like suggested make sure you have usb support on in the bios and you select to load the driver packages in memory when loading windws

Thanks for your help my PS keyboard is working unfortunately my usb mouse/keyboard still do not work even after having my OS installed. How would i go about selecting to load the driver packages?
