Windows 10: USB Ninja cable attack

HelloRecently I learned about USB Ninja cable that actually is a hidden keyboard inside regular USB cable. You can find a video on YouTube about how it works.I'm wondering if Windows 10 has some built in protection. Of course best way to protect your computer is to watch what cables you plug in but I can think about solution when you can limit amount of keyboards connected at same time. Also it can be presented as a setting with default value 1 - for desktops and 2 for laptops. Or at least show a popup and ask if user wants to initialize second keyboard.

Disconnecting usb cable from N70

You could also try these steps before unplugging your usb cable from your pc:

1. click the safely remove hardware (green arrow pointing down) found on the right portion of the taskbar.

2. select the usb cable

3. then click stop (once you click stop, it informs you that you could now safely remove your usb cable from your pc.)

As for unhooking your N70 from the usb cable, the suggestion from previous messages is the best way which is by gently bending it downwards.

I have tested such a pair with keyboard and mouse only. Over 40 meters Cat5e LAN cable ... not high quality just common cable, it works OK. Can't tell you if USB will work at full speed. I guess shorter the LAN cable better the USB speed. *Smile
