Windows 10: USB ports, blu tooth and Camera stopped working this afternoon...maybe other things

As the title says.


I have check for new drivers, I have uninstalled in device manager, I have installed all optional updates.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do?

USB 2.0 Ports Stopped working

Hello,

I recently noticed my USB 2.0 ports have stopped working, but my USB 3.0 port is functioning perfectly.

Steps i have tried:

- Restarting

- Searching for device changes in Device manager

- running troubleshooter

all these suggested fixes didn't remedy the issue, its a bit of an inconvenience that i only have one functioning USB port

Windows All USB ports stopped working this afternoon

I'm not sure what happened here but all 3 of my USB ports have stopped working. I didn't do a system update nor did I download or install any new programs. The USB devices do work on other computers just not this one. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 with
Windows 10.

What I have tried so far:

1. Updated USB Drivers
2. Uninstalled USB Drivers (system reboot followed)
3. System scan and repair
4. System restore to 2 days ago
5. System restore to 5 days ago

None of these have worked and I'm not sure what else I can do. Anyone have any ideas or solutions?

 

USB port maybe not working

The USB port may stop working if you have quickly and repeatedly connected and removed a certain USB device. When the port is in this state, it may no longer recognize or detect some USB devices. In order to assist you effectively, please provide answers

• Do you remember making any software or hardware changes to your device prior to this happening?
• Is the issue confined to a particular USB port only? If possible, try to connect or insert to another USB port on your device. If the issue is with a particular USB device only, you may attempt to connect it using another computer and check if the issue
  persists.
• To make sure we have not missed on anything, may we know the specific procedures that you have performed so far?

Meanwhile, ensure that you have the latest Windows updates. To do so, press
Windows key + I > Update & security >
Windows Update > click Check for updates. This will keep your
device updated with all the latest features and scan for any hardware changes.
