I have no idea why, but it seems that since going from win 8.1 to 10 (though i may have gotten 1 or 2 before on 8.1) my computer gets the WORST habit of BSODs, especially under strain. BUT, it blames USB? I don't know if it's drivers, but there was a specific page for me to get win 10 compatible drivers from MSI and that wasn't enough if drivers are the issue, but who knows? I know i can't read these darn things yet, maybe some day. I think there should be at least one BSOD here, but maybe as many as 16, in the attachment. And nothing is usually plugged into the USB port. also, just had to do a second dump to get it to actually fill the file.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - BSOD or System Freeze EVERY morning after startup

Since the Windows 10 Upgrade and all updates, my computer will have either a BSOD or a System Freeze within an hour of morning startup that requires a shutoff via power button. Then restart and things work all day.

I have also found that if I try to sleep the computer, it boosts the speed of the fans to max for almost 15 minutes before actually sleeping, so I started shutting down completely at night. Even the shutdown boosts the fan speeds to max speed, but for only
5 minutes before shutting the computer off.

The Error code on the BSOD is different every day.

I have tried waiting with the system freezes, but to no avail. Waited as long as 1 hour once and there was no change. The desktop sounded like it was doing something, but then never broke free of the freeze.

Have done a full system scan of the hardware and system, and the report at the end of the hours of testing was that there is nothing wrong on that end.

Wanted to see if anyone else had had similar issues, if there were solutions, or if I should just revert back to Windows 7.

Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.

A few dumps are blaming the USB drivers.
    This could mean
    • A port is faulty
    • The connected device is giving problems
    • The driver self is giving problems

    • Disable USB connections, disconnect USB devices
    • Run SFC for the Windows USB drivers,
    • Test your GPU, note the temperatures of the GPU when idle and under load.
    • Update/reinstall GPU drivers

    System File Check
    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Note Run Furmark for around 30 minutes

Warning Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high
Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from MSI. Be sure to ONLY install the drivers using custom/advanced options.

Alright so, I did the whole SFC deal, no problems detected, THREE times just to be sure. Ran furmark, and.....that was more unsettling. The GPU temp readout stayed a solid 0 celsius the whole time, so i guess either the probe broke or my drivers did. So i ran DDU and....the drivers are still installed? Still have CCC, still have 15.7.1 as my driver version, what is going on? Did i do it wrong?

It is the same, but clean installed.
You have a laptop, don't expect too soon an update.
