Windows 10: Use of PlayStation Dance Mat on Windows 10

I have rediscovered Dance Dance Revolution after finding a Playstation 1 Dance Mat and a converter that allows me to use the dance mat on my Windows 10 PC. The only issue I have with the Dance Mat (which has 10 buttons) is that I am unable to press two arrow buttons simultaneously (ie Up+Down, Left+Right) as the PC driver recognises the arrows as a joystick (which wont allow two opposite directions to be pressed simultaneously) instead of four separate buttons which should overcome the axis issue needed to properly play the game. Windows 10 does not offer me the option to manually calibrate the dance mat to make it work how it should. I have checked many different online forums and YouTube videos that claim to know the answer, but have had no luck with any of the possible solutions offered. Is there anyway I can overcome the issue that I have raised?

Xbox dance mat to PC

Hi there,

I am trying to connect an Xbox dance mat to my Windows 10 laptop. I've tried installing different drivers with little success. The pad connected without a problem with my previous laptop that ran Windows 7. So, there is a driver out there for this purpose.

If someone could point me in the right direction that'd be much appreciated.

Refer the steps below to run a Home group troubleshooter and check if the issue is resolved.

  Type “Troubleshooting” in search bar.

  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on “Network and Internet”,
  
• 
  Select “Home Group”.‌ (You might be asked for an admin password or to confirm your choice)
  
• 
  Click on “Next”, and then follow the instructions on your screen.
  

As you have mentioned that you are able to share files and folder to other computers as well as Play station 3 provided in a default folder. I would suggest you to be in touch with Play station support.

Looking for best DDR mat out there.

So I sort of have limited space where I live right now, so I can't buy one of those crazy metal dance mats. So instead, I need one of those rollable foam ones.

Now, here's the trick. Main reason to buy the mat is to play the PC DDR game StepMania, but at the same time, I'd like for it to be compatible with the Wii because I have some DDR games for it. And having it compatible with PS3 is a plus because I might get some for that too, who knows. I just want a really good dance mat that people like overall.

Any suggestions?
