good one! I had the same problem, but to fix it press "ctrl" and turn your mouse wheel, you can make them as large or as small as you wish.

I am guessing he is leveraging some code. I don't think he is just registry hacking.

Screenshot? Not working here. I've tried 800px and 1024px wide (I have 5670x1080 space) and they're just as small as ever, even after a log off and a reboot.

All I did was change the size by manually adding the MinThumbSizePx entry into the registry.
Open up regedit and navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband

Right click and select new DWORD (32-bit) Value
    Name is MinThumbSizePx
    Change Base to Hexadecimal
Then Change Value data to the size you want yours, I have mine set to 800.

Finally, log off and log back in.

Thats all I did. Also, I am running Windows 10 Pro x64.

One correction to the Registry hack - make sure the “Base” option is set to “Decimal” (not hexidecimal) and enter a value in the form of pixels.

    (2) 1920 x 1080 monitors default taskbar preview size win Windows 10.

and with the decimal value data set to 1000.

  9. Huh, I cannot seem to do that. The value stays hex. I'm on home, so maybe that is the problem?
