  1. User Account Control Windows PowerShell

For about a week now, every time I've turned on my computer I've been prompted to allow Windows PowerShell to make changes to my device. Clicking no or exiting the prompt does nothing as it immediately brings up another window until I click yes. PowerShell isn't in my startup folder and it doesn't seem to cause any further issues after booting up, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the prompt showing up every single time I turn my computer on. Help would be much appreciated.

    :)

  2. User Account Control

    Hello Ridho,

To enable the User Account Control (UAC) on Windows 10, please follow these steps:

    • Click the Start button, type UAC.
    • Click Change User Account Control settings.
    • Choose between two options to enable UAC:
      • Notify when apps try to make changes to your computer.
      • Always notify when installing or making any changes to your computer.
    • Click OK.
    • Click Yes or enter your password to finalize the change.
Steps to disable User Account Control (UAC).

    • Click the Start button, type UAC.
    • Click Change User Account Control settings.
    • Click Yes or enter your password.
    • Set the settings to Never notify.
    • Click OK to save the settings.
    Regards.

    User Account Control Windows PowerShell

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown User Account Control Windows PowerShell :(
