    Hello radiowaves, *Smile

    This setting is basically to allow Windows to sign back in to your account if it automatically restarts the computer for a Windows Update.

    It doesn't apply if you manually restart.

    If I turned off the setting would the only difference be that I would have to sign in before an update is done? Also, for a major update like the FCU that restarts several times, would I have to sign in multiple times for it to finish?

    If turned off, you would only have to sign in once as usual after Windows Update automatically restarts your PC.
