    Using a desktop with windows 10 64 bit with Flight sim X


    I have noticed in shops that some back-up hard drives can download an old 32 bit game like Microsoft Flight sim "X", and then play it on X BOX. Can it also play on the desktop computer 64 bit windows 10 non-partitioned? Does it need also to download an older windows 7? Clive

    Microsoft flight sim X stopped working, states on startup , "Microsoft flight simulator X did not start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect"?

    worked fine before I installed win 10??

    Am now using win 10 pro 64 bit with 8Gb mem, intel 7 2.93Gb, Gforce 1051I graphes

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that the Flight Sim X is not running after the first startup closed. We will help you.

    • What is the make and model of your PC?
    I suggest you to update graphics drivers
    and check if the same issue persists.

    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager.
    • Search for Display Adapters and expand it.
    • Right click on the graphics driver
      and select Update driver software.
    • Restart the System and check opening the application again.
    If the above steps do not work, then I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the game. They would assist you better with the issue.
