  1. Using tools in Photos

I have about 50 or 60 photos in a project. If the "Motion" or "Effect" tools are to be used, is there a way that all photos can be selected, then apply the tool, rather than working with each photo separately?

    :)

  2. Crop tool Photos App not working

    Thank you for the information.

To help us isolate this further, kindly provide us the following information.

    • What changes have you made prior to this issue?
    • To which program are you exactly using the crop tool? Photos App or Office 2016?
    • You mentioned crop tool is not working properly when Photos App is used. Have you tried to close it, and check if the issue persists?

If you are only experiencing the issue with Office 2016, kindly run the repair Office application by referring to the steps listed on this

    link
    .

However, if you are encountering it with Photos App only, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Windows apps through this

    Looking forward to your response.

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done Using tools in Photos :) I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
