Windows 10: Using Win7 product key after upgrading to Win10?

    I'm wondering, if after upgrading a PC to windows 10, can I use the old Windows 7 product key to install windows 7 on another PC?

    That's correct. I meant to say Win7 Ultimate. That's what's written on the box. Sorry for the confusion.

    So, based on your reply I can "upgrade" my Win10 Home of my new laptop purchase to Win10 Pro by using the product key of my Win7 Ultimate at no cost.

    You cant upgrade from home to Enterprise and win 10 enterprise is not included in the free upgrade.

    You can only get WIN 10 Enterprise as a trial or from a volume licensing center.

    And no a fresh win 7 Enterprise would not "upgrade" to win 10 Enterprise for free. Contact VLC or purchase Pro
