    Hi

    I have an Lenovo Z580 Laptop which had Windows 8.1 when I bought it. I then updated to Windows10 Home. I have been unable to gain access to the EUFI (ACCESS DENIED) so I could change the starting order to USB/DVD first If any body could help

    net user administrator /active:no keeps saying access denied.

    Hi Rebekah,

    It's possible that you're not using an elevated command prompt, causing the Access Denied error. We suggest following these steps to properly disable the built-in administrator account:

    • Right-click the Start button.
    • Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Copy and paste net user Administrator /active:no and press
      Enter      . If the command isn't successful, please post a screenshot so that we can study it further.

    Let us know if you're able to hide the administrator account after following these steps.

    Already sign in as administrator but still Access Denied (Defragment and optimize drives)

    Run through some article regard of administrator setting and I'm pretty sure that my pc are signed in as administrator but yet when I wanted to access to the Defragment and Optimize drives, the access denied keep on showing state that I am not sign in
    as an administrator. Any idea?
