Windows 10: Using WORD When Switching From Mac Side To Windows Side (via Parallels

Hello,

Using Mac with that Parallels program so I can switch to Windows 10 side from the Mac.
Seems to work fairly well.

I have MS Office Home and Student 2016. Box is labeled also: "Mac"
I have it installed on the Mac side. Would like to use when on the Windows side too.

I understand that it will work, also on the Windows side, and that there is
no need to buy another Office for the Windows side.

Can anyone please explain to me how to get a WORD icon on the Windows side, etc., and use
it, and create new documents e.g., on the Windows side ?

Just to clarify, you receive the error message while trying to install Windows 10, is that right?

I would suggest you to try the steps given in Parallel's Support page and check if it helps.

Unable to activate Windows 10 in parallels

I transferred a valid and activated copy of windows 10 (free upgrade from Windows 7) to Parallels on my Mac. The copy in Parallels though says it is not activated. How do I activate this VM?

The original windows computer is now switched off and not used, but is a windows 7 virtual machine in Parallels on this Mac.
