When I am trying to add an internet printing protocol (IPP) printer, I receive an error code: 0x000000d

I am trying to add an internet printing protocol (IPP) printer, and 7/8 of my computers have worked, but one gives me this error when locating the printer: 0x000000d. Now what?

Thank you Martin. Is IPP deprecated then? I understand the setup but had that specific question about credentials. How do you suggest i try to find an answer for it?

The issue can occur if the required features are not configured properly or the drivers are not up to date. Here are few things that you can try:

Method 1: Try enabling the feature.

1. Open Run
   dialog (Windows key +R key).
   
2. Then click on Programs and Features.
   
3. Then click on Turn Windows features on or off.
   
4. Then check the box Internet Printing Client under
   Print and Document Services.
   
5. Click on Okay and then try to add the printer.
   

If the issue still persists, please try 'Method 2'.
