    Hello,

    Has anyone figured out how to view raw camera files on Windows 10 yet? I have read all the community chatter and tried all the suggestions with no luck. Anyone been successful? I understand this is a big issue, so, Microsoft why haven't you fixed it or when is this going to be on your radar? It seems this is a big issue with every update to Windows going way back...maybe think more about it since half the world is filled with photographers.

    Will Windows 10 support Camera Raw files

    Will the new Windows 10 finally support Raw camera files? For the love of pete us photographers would be SO grateful if it did! Anyone know? Windows read my older cameras RAW files but once I upgraded my camera it couldn't hang with the RAW and won't read
    it. I am so hopeful this will come with the new upgrade!!

    Thank you for the reply. I eventually went to the Nikon site since I shoot with Nikon cameras and found the codec that was needed so I could view RAW photo files. Everything is now working as it should.

    Will Windows 10 support Camera Raw files

    Your answer doesn't make any sense. RAW is not an Adobe thing. It's a lossless image file used by digital cameras.

    For previous versions of Windows you could download the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack to get RAW support for most cameras. There's even a version for Windows 8.1. But I can't find a download for Windows 10.
