  1. Vendor updates still being installed after disabling them.

I've a gaming laptop amd/nvidia that I'm using for VM/WSL2 dev work. Asus's vendor updates still send 2019/2020 drivers for it and override any updates.I searched Device installation settings and turned off vendor updates. I was able to upgrade drivers for both nvidia and amd devices for about a day and several restarts.Today I logon and Windows 11 has scheduled an update for all the old drivers that I updated. I checked the vendor updates settings and its still turned off.Why is Windows updates still applying vendor updates after I tell it not to, and why can I only pause updates for 5 weeks.

    :)

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?

iTunes installation + Other installation that have occured

It seems that there's a problem with that particular link. Anyhow, here are some steps that you can try and see if it resolves the issue:

    • Disable your third-party antivirus.
    • Install iTunes as administrator.
    • Update your Windows.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Visit Apple forums to check for suggestions.

Update us with the results of these steps.

Vendor updates still being installed after disabling them.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Vendor updates still being installed after disabling them. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
