    Hello, I had previously downloaded the Windows 10 21H2 ISO in Jan-2022. And burned it in USB Stick and clean installed windows then. It was 5.47GB in size. At present, I would like to clean install the windows in one of my other laptop. I downloaded using the media creation tool from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10. The size of new ISO is just 4.28GB.From this, I could see that the Windows 10 21H2 ISO that I had downloaded in Jan-2022 and at present has huge variation in size. Hence, I would like to verify the size and hash sum of the ISO downloa

    hash for iso files

    I have download Win8.1_English_x64.iso file from https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows8 using my android in multiple installments. Now I want to make sure that my ISO is not corrupted so I checked my hash
    value using File Checksum Integrity Verifier version 2.05. Now how can I check that my hash value is correct or my file is corrupted. Please help me as soon as possible.

    I suggest you verify whether the files really are identical. Generate different hashes- as f14tomcat suggests below..

    What convinces you the hash value computed is embedded in the file?
