    Version 1903 - Blue Screen


    My Desktop updated to 1903 on 05/08/2019.

    On 06/08/2019, there were two further updates:

    1. Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4506991) -2019/07 Cumulative update for .Net Framework 3.8,4.5 for Windows 10 1903

    2. Security update for Adobe Flash Player


    I have also had updates for the Defender definitions on 06/08 and 07/08


    I am now getting the 'Blue Screen' and suggesting that I give the support the info...

    Stop code: Faulty Hardware corrupted page.

    I have tried to read the dump file to identify the problem. I am unable to read the dump file.

    The support help suggests Uninstalling the latest updates. Do I uninstall the two updates on 06/08/2019 or the 1903 update?


    Any help in resolving the problem will be much appreciated

    Hi Jon,

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    We would like to know some information:

    • Did you get any blue screen stop error codes?
    • Have you tried booting in Safe mode?
