Windows 10: Very Low CPU Usage while playing Games

Hello,So on windows 11 I noticed very low CPU usage in games 1-3%, that causes stutter and lag in most games. I can play games like Minecraft normally, in GTA V is appearing a bit stutter and lag, and games like Fortnite are unplayable. My Specs:I5 10400F,RTX 2060,16 GB ram

Are you sure its not using the Intel GPU? The Support site shows it should have Nvidia Optimus which means it could be set for the other GPU. That can cause confusion for people.

There's only two real reasons for low usage. The game isn't using the CPU for various reasons or you are bottlenecking on something else (hardware or software).

The signs point to another GPU being used. Though only 60% of that CPU, isn't bad at all. That's a decent CPU. Many games won't use 100% of 8 threads. If you've seen 100% usage on those games before on Windows 10 then something is probably bottlenecking the system.

 

Low single core performance CPU in windows 11 22h2 update, low CPU usage

The recent patch fixed the low GPU usage issue in games, however, CPU usage is still low. below 6%. So Microsoft still needs to fix that. because when I rolled back the update, the usage is fine. even when i run a single core benchmark in cinebench the CPU usage is still below 6%. no driver updates or uninstallation fixed it. only roll back to update fixed the problem. I have Ryzen 5 5600X, 32G corsair ram, RTX 3070. as i mentioned, rolling back the update fixed the issue. GPU usage was low until the recent update from microsoft but there is a problem with the CPU still
