Windows 10: Very strange problem

Hello everyone! *Biggrin
First of all sorry if my English is not the best *Wink

I have an Asus's laptop, and some days ago, I recognized that my battery charging time got a liittle bit slower.
I searched how to slove it, and I found a tutorial on the Asus's site that shows how to update the Bios and this should be help for the time of battery charging.

There are 2 parts in the video and in each part I should download a file and install it.
I did the first part, and after that I didnt find the second file of the second part, but the guy who made the video said to download the file *if* im seeing it, but I didnt so i gueesed that I did all as well.

the issue:
After few hours, I turned off my laptop and I didnt see the loading white balls when the computer is turning off(at the blue screen that say turning off when you click on turning off button).
when im turning on the computer I also dont see these balls...

I dont really care about that, but it should be cause because of a problem and I dont know what is this problem that causing to this to happend.
The strange thing that after that I tried to create another user account on windows 10, and when im using this new account, all works perfect, but I want to use my original user/profile.

I will be glad of someone will help me with this problem.

Strange boot problem

I am trying to get my head round the 6 steps above before having a go. If you can expand on them it may give me a bit more confidence. I cant lose the whole contents of my PC.
Have attached details as you suggested.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

8800GTS problems.

Seems pretty strange to me. I have a standard 8800GTS, the only problem I get is the BSOD nv4_disp.dll thing, which in my case I think is linked to heat on other parts of the video card.

I would suggest completely removing the drivers using Driver Cleaner, and install the ones that came with the card first. If the problem continues, remove again, try the newest drivers. If it still happens, underclock the card and try the same steps. In the end, talk to EVGA and see what they tell you.
