Windows 10: Video/Audio Out of Sync... sometimes

Lately, I have been having issues with my video and audio being out of sync. The issue always seems to be with videos from my phone – not all of them though. The majority work perfectly fine and then a selection are out of sync the audio is delayed. When I play music there is never a delay ad Youtube seems to work fine.


I spoke with HP who directed me to update my bios and something else but the issue remains. I’ve tried the troubleshooter for audio and it states: “It’s unable to automatically fix all of the issues found and states the problem found is ‘Generic Audio Driver.’” I’ve turned off all audio enhancements, have updated the drivers, have tried selecting the generic audio driver and nothing seems to work. I’ve also tried doing the “services.msc” and checked to make sure “Windows Audio” and “Windows Audio EndPoint Builder” are running, startup is automatic and I have also restarted them. The issue remains. I’m getting frustrated… how can I resolve this issue?

Audio out of sync in video Windows 10

• Are you facing this issue with particular video file or all the video files?
  
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving this issue.

Note: The steps mentioned below are applicable to Windows Media player only.

Make sure “Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized”

1. Open Windows Media Player.

2. Click on Tools and then on Options

3. Switch to Performance tab.

4. Ensure that a check is next to the "Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized" and "Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" options.

5. Click "Apply" and click "OK."

Restart Windows Media Player and open a video file. Ensure that the audio and video are in sync.

Video and audio out of sync

I've been having an on-going issue where while streaming online video (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) the video and audio become out of sync. I've browsed several solutions from various communities and none have worked thus far. Solutions I've attempted:

• updating drivers
• disabling Realtek High Definition Audio
• uninstalling Realtek High definition audio - and letting windows auto-reinstall it
• Editing the power plan setting

When I pause the video for a few minutes, it's fine for a bit, but will become out of sync again. Lately it's been taking less and less time for the audio to become out of sync. It does not matter what browser I use either. Any help?

Video/Audio out of sync

Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.693) from the first upgrade to present build my PC has had audio problems with online videos or audio, regardless or what browser is used, Spotify iTunes same thing

I tried most things suggested- updating drivers, using windows high def. audio drivers, changing properties which sometimes briefly work but not for long ? If I swap my drives and run Windows 7 theirs no static noise or out of sync videos. I cant use my
windows 10 for making slide shows or anything video /audio software that I need to save .

Looks like an pc upgrade is the only solution...
