    Video playback resolution problem

All of a sudden, all of the videos that I've taken and stored on my Lenovo desktop computer using Windows 10 playback using Windows Media Player as if they are zoomed in and super-pixelated. The same occurs when I try playback using Sony's video editor, Play Memories Home. Nearly all of the videos playback correctly using VLC. And all of the videos that I have loaded into Google Photos play correctly. I did a remote session with a Level 2 engineer at Sony, but we couldn't find the problem. I have ensured that all of the apps are updated, or I have reinstalled them all. I'm stuck.

    :)
