Windows 10: Video Project wont open

I just spend two days working on a vlog and I finally finished it and now when I try to open the video project it tells me that the project can't open. Please tell me I can do something to fix it I need this vlog for a presentation on Tuesday!

Windows Photos Export Video Project Problem

We understand the difficulties you are facing with the Photos App, while exporting video project. We were able to create and export the video project. So the issue could be with photos app installed in the PC. I would suggest you
to follow the steps mentioned in these methods.



Method 1: Please refer the steps as mentioned in

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store article.



Method 2: You can also try to re-install the app using PowerShell. Here are steps to re-install photos app:

1. Open PowerShell (Admin). Right click on the start button and then on PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Then type: get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
   
3. Once the above command is successful. You can install the Photo app from Microsoft Store.

Versions 2019.19051.16210.0 and later have the fix for the issue you were seeing. Thanks for using the Video Editor!

 

How do I open a video project made with Windows 10 photos app?

you told us how to open it, but not where it is stored.... I want to open a video project I made using the "photos" app but want to open it in the "film and TV" app as that is where I can play it on "replay" or "continuous loop".. but to open it in the Film
& TV app I have to find where it is stored. thanks for any help you can give.
