Windows 10: Video scheduler internal error BSD on Windows 10 Pro

Hello Guys,

When I am viewing webpages with video's playing I am getting the odd BSD with the Video scheduler internal error, it happens roughly every other day but yesterday it happened twice.

My video card is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI OC, my motherboard and CPU are now 7 years old and well over due renewing which I plan to do next year, my video driver is up to date as are other drivers except some of the motherboard drivers which are no longer available.

I have attached my dump files as per the sticky and I would really appreciate if someone would have a look and see if there's any thing I can do to prevent them.

Video internal scheduler error

I've upgraded to Windows 10, but I've noticed that often when I am watching flash based videos in my browser, I would get the BSOD with "video internal scheduler error" - does anyone know how to fix this?

I am actually running windows 10 on a bootcamp Macbook pro.

Welcome to the 10forums.

As the crash is focused on the GPU, please follow instructions below.

Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Nvidia
Please note the temperatures of the GPU when idle and under load.
Please make sure the components are clean of dust and connected properly.

Run Furmark tutorial



Note Run Furmark for around 30 minutes



Warning Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high

 

Thanks for that, I will try that later this evening.

 

Just tried the video stress test and it lasted 30 minutes with no problems, max temp was 63 degrees C, I've uninstalled the video driver using the utility and reinstalled the latest driver. I will report back if the problem continues.
