Windows 10: Videostream

Is it safe to allow videostream-native.exe through the Defender firewall?

Cast to device not working since upgrading to WIndows 10

I have this problem, my workaround is the following:

• Install google chrome: Google Chrome Web Browser
• install the google cast extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-cast/boadgeojelhgndaghljhdicfkmllpafd?hl=en
• install the videostream for google chromecast app: Videostream for Google Chromecast™
• Enable a firewall exception for the videostream app: Adding Firewall Exception in Windows
• Now go to your google Apps (appears as a button in google chrome) and click on videostream
• select the video you want to view, select the chromecast device and the casting should start

 

Why dont all my Apps show on Chrome Webpage, when I press Apps at top

When I click Apps at top left in Chrome it brings up a page of just Googles own Apps.
Not ones I have installed too, including Pinterest, Videostream, Chromecast, Send by Email and more.
Should it not show all my Apps?
Wanted to add Videostream in particular.

 

Skype on N9 - where is a problem?

Hello,

I did not find any relevant answer to my question so I decided to use this way to get enlighten about it.

My Nokia N9 is Skype ready - I can see my contacts, I can chat with them - but I can not share videostream with them.

I have tried to go to an Options or Setup menu - there is no such menu!

Skype is even not listed in the application list. Does it mean it is just a "client" only?

Can I get full Skype on my N9? Advise me, please.
