Good to know. I have someone in the market for a touch screen and the flip is adds great use flexibility. Obviously, size and weight puts it in a diff class than a tablet.

Was that a shot? You don't always get more for your money, nor decent customer service from a good company. I speak from having bought a lot of their products . Although they have been really good in the past, my last purchase on the 6th of May was a disaster. It has left a bad taste in my mouth and so, it is my last dealings with them.
Seems to me that "good customer service" is more a matter of sheer luck.

  6. I've owned both Toshiba and Asus laptops. Asus makes very good machines as does Toshiba. In MY experience Toshiba has the best customer support of any of the big name manufacturers. Hands down. Having said that, I would probably go with the Asus as I have been mightily impressed with their hardware. Their customer support is by far the WORST I've ever experienced but that is offset somewhat by the quality of their machines. If customer support is high on your list of "wants", go with the Toshiba. If its somewhat lower on your list , go Asus.

Looks like the Dell is touchscreen, where as the ASUS is not. The Dell also has wrls AC; the ASUS is N. Dell has more memory. No BT on the ASUS. I guess, it depends on if you need/want these features or not. Personally, I would find an i5, but that's just me. *Smile
