    Many people are looking for a suitable antivirus software and I thought this thread might help them a bit.

    Note: Of course there is nothing called "THE BEST ANTIVIRUS" and it really varies based on kind of usage and many other factors. And this topic is just know share the ideas and opinions to help others.

    I am using Avira Optimization Suite on my Windows
    Avira Antivirus Pro on my macOS

    Why?
    Becuase Avira has had a great results last two years as its mentioned by AV-TEST and AV-Comparatives.
    It is not heavy on the hardware and the "Optimization Suite" optimizes the windows (I could easily feel the before/after situation). And finally It acts great against 0-day malwares and viruses. No issues so far so ... my personal vote is Avira.

    Also, the Poll asks about Free antivirus programs but neither ESET (in which I referred to) or F-Secure have Free versions as far as I know (correct me If I'm wrong).
