I use Macrium free for two reasons:
    1. It works.
    2. "Free"

    Hi Kari,

I unashamedly recommend Macrium Reflect to any users. It is the only tool I know that successfully backs up and restore imagres on 32bit uefi tablets and i have tested many other programs.

AOMEI and Macrium Reflect are my top choice.

My choice would be EaseUS Todo Backup Free because I am familiar with the program and I have confidence in it.

I know that my hard drive will eventually die of old age and accept that but what I will not tolerate is a dirty drive so I check it regularly.

I first learned about Macrium Reflex Free from sevenforums and have used it ever since.
I have 3 systems with SSD's and the 2 desktops have HDD's also where I store my data files.
I do a full image of the SSD's right after a Windows update or other programs updates and copy them to a HDD on my main system.
I use SyncToy to back up my data to 2 external USB drives and this includes the Macrium images.

For primary backups I use Macrium Reflect Free version It works, easy to use, but has advanced options if you need them. There was few problems but not as much as for example with windows Backup. I use free version and it's enough for most part in my usage although i would like to have Incremental and file backups (from paid version). Worst thing about paid version that upgrades are not free.
As secondary test Backup I use Aomei Backupper free version it is quite simple I think that macrium has better complex/simple balance and Macrium UI is better. There is few advantages thought free upgrades for paid version, free version can do incremental (but can't differential) backups.
As macrium free doesn't have file backup I use FreeFileSync for file backups, It's great file sync software with versioning and lots of options but you need to be careful while installing to not get PUP.

Oh one more thing I like about Macrium, you can easily mount the image by double clicking it, and copy files and folder if you need something, be it data, font's or even system files(do you need to replace a .dll for an older version?).

I don't use any backup software......I've never, ever done a system image or clone for a backup. I wouldn't know where to begin. I would love to learn how. It would be wonderful to actually win something.

I use Cobian Backup on the servers, but for home I don't have anything worth backing up so I don't bother.

  14. I have used Macrium Reflect for a number of years. I have always found it easy to use and very reliable. I always verify my images as I appreciate that there can never be an absolute guarantee that a backup will work but verifying increases the chances of success. It hs saved me hours of frustrating work over the years. An absolute life saver!
