Windows 10: View refresh in file explorer

In W7 I could refresh the file list after deleting files using the view menu and the refresh option.
W10 does not remove deleted files from view at once nor does it have a way of doing it manually that I can find.
I can't believe it no longer exists.

File Explorer has gone crazy after last nights upgrade.

My only has icons instead of full descriptions. I can not get back to a point where I have tabs that actually say something. Please tell me how to get my view repaired? help... Help.... HELP!!!

 

Windows 10 File Explorer auto updates

IF you hit the F5 button it does what I would expect it to do when explorer auto refreshes.

There is a discrepancy with windows 10 where the auto refresh and F5 act different. F5 will keep the selected file/folder within the view able area, while auto refresh removes the selected file/folder out of view when the selected file/folder is out of view
if the scroll bar is in the top most position.

This is still a problem, none of the troubleshooting steps above have helped.

I am finding hundreds of forums online with the same issue, no resolution.

 

Solved. Another thread popped up. Use f5 or rt click refresh.
