Windows 10: Virtual XP

Where do I look for directions and discussion for using Virtual XP on a Windows 10 computer ?

No virtual pc/XP-mode after upgrade

Thanks for the quick reply. I have seen and read thru these recommendations after just searching randomly for information.

I did take the steps to activate/'turn on' the Hyper-V on my machine. Now I can see what i believe is the old VHD from my Win7-XP Mode. Interesting is i can find such items there as Solitaire and can actually open it and play, just can't find XP to launch.

If I do these steps and do get XP to work in a new virtual machine, what should I do with the old XP Mode VHD from Virtual PC?

Also what about reverting back to Win 7, will I still have my XP Mode/license and it work like before the upgrade?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows XP Virtual machine on Windows 10

Hi all- I'm looking for some suggestions on how to install Windows XP virtual PC on to my new Windows 10 Enterprise Edition.

Really need XP to run some very old Windows 32-bit apps.

Can I do it on windows 10?

what are the other possibilities?
