Windows 10: VirtualBox 4.3.18.96516 - 10 TP Compatibility?

Anyone had chance to test the guest additions on the latest release of VirtualBox (VirtualBox 4.3.18.96516)?

Will Windows 10 license permit consumers to run it in a VM?

Hi,

I have been happily running Windows 10 TP in virtual machines (VirtualBox and VMWare) for several months. When the real Windows 10 is released will the license permit it to be run in a Virtual Machine by consumers, or is an Enterprise Service Agreement
required as for Windows 8.1?

Virtual Box error in windows10

Why does virtualbox only have 32-bit option, no 64-bit option on Windows 10 ?
VirtualBox 5.0.24 for Windows hosts x86/amd64

 

I have just tested this after getting in from work and after upgrading to the latest version of Virtual Box and Guest additions it now runs a lot smoother but still don't get the resolution i would like (1920 x 1080), i can only get 1152 x 864

 

I can install W10 itself OK, but when I tried to install the Guest Additions, it crashed out just after a message on installing the "WDDM drivers for Windows 8 or newer".

It's possible I'm doing something wrong though.*Redface

 

Have you got the latest version of VirtualBox?

Another thing to try is Enable 3D Acceleration and give the VM more Video Memory, i put mine up to 256mb and it seemed to help.
