virus and spyware definition didn't update how to make it update i think windows defender is out of date that's why it says can not update what i have to to update it

Updation of Virus & Spyware definitions

Virus & Spyware definitions didn't update because of an internet or connectivity problem.

It is showing when I am going to update Virus & Spyware definitions. But there is no problem of connectivity or Internet. Real time protection is on & unable to update Virus & Spyware definitions.

Please guide to resolve the problem.
