Windows 10: Virus destroyed W10 how to reinstall

Hi guys, a particularly nasty virus has beaten bitdefender and left me with a corrupted W10. I have virtually no control over the OS. How can I clean the machine entirely and start from scratch. As I bought the laptop online I don’t have the OS software anymore either the virus has seen to that. I am at wits end. Please help.

my name is Jarod I have w10 and some virus I just cant get off I have been told that completely wiping w10 and all files and reinstalling them would work but I have 2 questions

1 is it possible (without destroying my pc)

2 how to completely erase it
