Hey guys, I have a big problem.

I have windows 10. I have a custom built PC, I can go into the specs more if needed.

Yesterday I downloaded a cinema 4D file from a trusted site. I typically download things from this site and have never had an issues in the past. I downloaded it, and unzipped the file. As soon as I unzipped the file my computer screen began to flash and it instantly said "Restarting." After it had finished restarting I logged backed into my computer, everything was fine. I was working on my project and everything was good.

Well, last night when I started up my computer; I had a ton of malware on my computer. Things like, "tomorrow games" and "sickbeats" and other things. I began to uninstall these things from control panel why Avast was running a scan. It found 10-15 infected DLLs on my computer and other things. It said that I have a tojan (or tojans) in my computer. It said it needed to do a deep scan, so I restarted my computer and avast rebooted it and did a full computer scan. (it was a black screen with white text going through) it would come up telling me which files were infected.

Anyways, this took a long time so I went to bed. I woke up this morning and my computer was turned off.

I try to reboot my computer; it goes through the Windows booting screen, but never reaches the login screen. My monitors are on; almost like its about to go to the logon screen and nothing ever happens. When I try to enter safe mode the same exact thing happens.

I really cannot reset this computer; I have a ton of videos and graphics on this computer that I can simply not lose. (I am a freelance designer)

Any tips on how I can reboot my computer? or what to do to get my computer functioning again?

    :)

So I accedently download a virus and I dont know how to remove it and no browser is working at all because of DNS and proxy servers

Do you want to show your computer to a professional who might be able to remove the virus?

If you don't want to show your computer to a professional (it won't be cheap) and you can't remove the virus on your own (it won't be easy), the only remaining course of action is to format your hard drive and start over.

    Computer not updating

i did this but wasn't able to run my anti virus Ina clean boot state it kept saying I need to restart my computer. However it did allow my computer to update in this state and did run a little faster. However now that I've started after the clean boot
it still won't allow my anti virus to update.

    Hi, first your data.
    1. Where is your precious data?
    - hopefully it is NOT in the same partition as Windows.
    2. Do you have a backup of your data? Your post suggests not.

    Assuming that you:
    - have not made a system image
    - do not use disk imaging
    - do not have backups
(The second two in particular are recommended here) then... noting system restore would be inadequate for this..

Your first priority would be to extract the data you need from your disk.
    However, it is infected.
Normally I would say take your disk out and connect it to a different PC and copy off what you want. However, here, there is a potential risk of infecting that PC.

So here it is probably preferable to boot your PC from a live boot CD, attach an external USB disk, and so copy the files you need to the external disk.

Then run a virus scan on that external disk.

    Second, cleaning up your PC.
This may or may not be possible. There are downloadable AV tools you can use as a boot disk.
    E.g.
How to create a Bitdefender Rescue CD

    Here's a video using Kasperky's disk:
Eliminate Viruses From An UNBOOTABLE Pc (2014) - YouTube

You will likely need multiple tools. I leave that to the experts...

You may, after the basic procedures, need to resort to this and a dedicated site:
If your computer is still infected download and run Trend Micro's Hijack this. Copy and paste a copy of your Hijack This log to one of the forums the Hijack This website recommends.

Hey, i have the same problem as the guy your replying to but i have my apps and stuff on some usb sticks.
Is reseting an easy way to get the PC booted up? (so i can run malwarebytes and get rid of the viruses i have or is it not going to help)
