Windows 10: Virus & threat protection option disapeared

Discus and support Virus & threat protection option disapeared in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I have attached a screenshot of my windows security, and as you can see, there is no "Virus & threat protection" option, when it should be in between...     Virus & threat protection option disapeared


    I have attached a screenshot of my windows security, and as you can see, there is no "Virus & threat protection" option, when it should be in between "Home" and "Account protection". I have no idea how this happened. It just disappeared one day. I have already tried restarting the computer, and running my antivirus. both to no avail. I'm running Windows 10 Home version 1809. I hope that someone can help me.

    virus and threat protection

    Virus and threat protection has stopped and will not restart, Windows 10 ver 1709, antimalware client ver 4.12.16299.15 . SuperAntiSpyware installed.

    I have tried most of the suggestions from the support pages, all have been ineffective. Any suggestions

    Hi Steven, while Controlled Folder Access is going to be a great feature, for the moment, until the rest of the software community catch up, your best option is to turn that feature off for now

    Open Windows Defender Security Center

    Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

    Scroll down to find Controlled folder access

    Turn that option off

    How can I activate Virus & threat protection for Windows 10 when the option to toggle "On" is grayed out and there is a message saying, "Your Virus & threat protection is managed by your organization?"
