Windows 10: VisionTek ATI Radeon 9250

Just got this card and can not find driver for it, any idea's Look in control panel and windows10 does not see it,is there a way to fix.

Windows XP Media center SP2, AMD ATHLON 64 3200+, ASUS K8v SE deluxe 1gb ram ddr ati radeon 9250...it is not a BIG pc but i don't think that the problem is the pc.I think that the problem is the incompatibility of bluetooth adapter

Not worth looking as the last driver released for that card was for XP back in 2006. Also even if you did somehow manage to find and install a driver, that card is below spec for Windows 10. Windows 10 requires at a minimum DirectX 9 and a WDDM 1.0 driver, neither of which that card has (card is only DirectX 8/8.1).

So my guess is this card is WAY TOO OLD for Windows 10. Sorry....

 

Mike think he is referring to the 6200, which while it doesn't have Windows 10 drivers does have Windows 8 drivers,

The only PCI cards that I find with Windows 10 drivers are based on the Radeon HD 5450 graphics processor. Not much to choose from at Newegg, but Amazon has a lot of them. (Be sure to use "-express" without the quotes to exclude PCI Express graphics cards.)

Must be a rather old PC. (PCI was the latest graphics card interface in 1995.) Good luck with it.

Nah, if you got a Q9650 like your specs say, try to upgrade the ram/gpu. That processor still has lots of kick left in it.

 

Looks like you have a LGA 775 motherboard, I think those can max out at 8GB ram, plenty to last a while.

Here's a nice gpu you can toss at it for a little over $200.
