    Visual Studio not creating .exe for C++ Program. As a student, I have Visual Studio 2022 Preview. I installed it just yesterday and have the workloads,1. ASP.NET and Web Development2. Node.js development3. .NET Desktop Development4. Desktop Development with C++5. Universal Windows Platform DevelopmentI am writing the programs strictly following the rules gives in my book. It worked in Turbo C++ but it is not working here. Please help me if there are any settings I need to do I have not changed any settings or I require more workloads and maybe some workloads need to be left out. Please help

    Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x64 Installation Failure

    I suggest you to uninstall any existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package to check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    Step 1: Uninstall the exiting Microsoft Visual C++.

    a) Press Windows key + x key and select
    Programs and Features    .

    b) Right click on the Microsoft Visual C++ and uninstall it.

    Step 2: Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and install it.

    If you start uninstalling bits and pieces then some parts of the program, or older programs, may fail to work properly. Did you select all these so called extras or were they installed automatically. If the latter then you may need them?

    Learning to Program C

    my suggestion is to learn c first, then expand to c++ or java depending on your project requirements. if you decide to use visual studio (which i strongestly recommend) then you can just create c++ projects and write normal c code
