    Voice Recorder crashes

Went to Microsoft Store, searched for for Voice Recorder, found Windows Voice Recorder download and installed it to my PC.

Now when I launch it disappears after about 5 seconds. What could be the causing Voice Recorder to crash?

My PC is an HP Elitebook 8440P running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
Avast Cleanup Premium reports 100% tuned up
Avast Driver Update reports all drivers are up to date
Windows Resource Protection did not find any errors
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Voice Recorder

What could be the causing Voice Recorder to crash?

    :)

    Voice Recorder Crashes

I have been using Windows Voice Recorder for sometime . i liked it because it`s easy to run and the recordings have a clear sound. I have become familiar with how to save the files, transfer them and rename the files. I have the Voice Recorder working on my cell phone and on another implementation of Win10. The only problem I am having is with this installation.

I would like to unravel what causes it to crash a few seconds after loading. I have:

    • used Avast Driver Updater to determined that the correct drivers are installed
    • used Avast Primum to remove corrupt files and repair broken files
    • ran Deployment Image Servicing and Management to repair system files
    • ran System File Checker to verify there are no integrity errors
    • made a backup and restored it to a different hard drive, the error was still there
I intend to use Process Monitor to create a log file of what is happening and determine what is causing the crashes,
    Want to help me?

    Voice Recorder Flags Disappeared

    Hi,

I realize the problem you are facing with the voice recorder.

To assist you better, please answer the below:

    • Are you using windows built-in voice recorder or any other 3rd party voice recorder application?

    • If you are using Build in Windows recorder, how did you put the flag?
If you are using built-in Windows recorder, there is no option to put a flag on recorded voice. Provide us the screenshot of recording interface with Flag.

Refer the steps given in the below link to provide us screenshots:

In case if you are using any 3rd party recorder, then I suggest you to contact the developer of the application for further help.

    Thank you.
