    Voice Recorder volume only plays on one side.


    I've been having problems with the voice recorder that comes on Windows 10. The audio only comes through one side of my headphones, but any other audio comes out both sides. My brother has been having the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Voice Recorder Flags Disappeared

    Hi,

    I realize the problem you are facing with the voice recorder.

    To assist you better, please answer the below:


    • Are you using windows built-in voice recorder or any other 3rd party voice recorder application?

    • If you are using Build in Windows recorder, how did you put the flag?
    If you are using built-in Windows recorder, there is no option to put a flag on recorded voice. Provide us the screenshot of recording interface with Flag.

    In case if you are using any 3rd party recorder, then I suggest you to contact the developer of the application for further help.

    How to fix: Voice Recorder plays back some MPEG-4 Audio, but not others?

    The "article" link you provided was helpful. With the first step, I did not have a "See more" option to "Get updates" (searched and could not find "updates" for Voice Recorder anywhere.) With the second step, there was no "Repair" option so I went with
    "Reset." It still would not play the ones that didn't play before, but an older, long one still played fine. I created a new, short test recording, and it DID play back! So I think it's working now.

    The problem, as you suggested, seemed to be primarily with longer recordings. Possibly, once it was "corrupted," maybe it impacted all recordings from that point on (?). Hopefully, the "Reset" will last; if not, I've saved the steps to do it again! Thanks
