Windows 10: Volume meter overlay keeps on popping up in Windows 10 Pro

In my Windows 10 Pro, a volume meter overlay keeps on popping up whenever it wants and appearing with a jittery slider. This happens even though I don't have any active app running. When this happens, it too would activate my camera, wi-fi, and blue tooth buttons on my laptop. I have to deactivate those buttons manually since I don’t want those active. Though I made use of "HideVolumeOSD" app from developer Marcus Venturi’s website that allowed me to hide the volume meter overlay, my desktop doesn’t act normally. Hey members of the forum!

I've got this problem for some time already:

Volume meter overlay is stuck at the top-left corner of the screen and does not go off.

Volume Control buttons don't work.

Fn key doesn't work.

Software-based volume control doesn't work either.

THe volume meter overlay goes off after disconnecting the keybord but comes back upon key press once the keybord is back.

This started a probably over a month ago, probably after patch installation, currently the computer has all the patches installed.

Any suggestion on how to resolve this?

Window Keeps Popping Up

Maybe not the computer but drive itself can. Check advanced options in your power plan, there's a setting for disk(s).

 

Radeon Overlay not displaying all options

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?
