    I have a program using DotRas to set up a VPN connection. My program will set the VPN interface not as the default gateway and insert custom routing rules so that other programs won't pass through the VPN connection.


    // works before 1809 update

    RasEntry entry = RasEntry.CreateVpnEntry(EntryName, VPN_Name, strategy, device);
    entry.Options.RemoteDefaultGateway = false;
    entry.Options.IPv6RemoteDefaultGateway = false;


    I'm 100% sure it works before the1809 update.


    After install 1809 update, I got two new routing rules:


    Before connecting VPN connection:


    Route Mask Gateway Interface Metrics

    0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1(my router ip) 192.168.1.2(my ip) 36

    I figured that after connecting it is inserted with two loopback routing rules and all traffic will go through the vpn interface.

    Network Routing Tables


    Hi everyone!


    I recently started using a VPN. However some websites block VPN ips so I can't visit them.
    To solve this problem I would like to add the blocked website's IP to my route table.
    It works fine on my other laptops but on my PC it doesn't seem to function. I ran the following command as an administrator in my cmd. Got the OK! feedback message but I still get blocked from visiting the website when on a VPN.

    you can see that the IP is indeed added to the list but sadly it doesn't function. I have been suggested to reinstall my Windows 10 but was wondering if there aren't any other solutions to this problem.
