recovery to a previous point is fine but then W10 trys to update again and you're into a LOOP

    So, what's the fix?

For me KB4481031 installed correctly when I downloaded it from the catalog and completed the update manually.

The issues now are KB4476976 and KB4480116 fail with 0x800f0922

    Neither will install manually.

I tend to agree. It's probably just another screw up. Nothing seems properly tested these days.

    W10 1809 KB4476976 and KB4481031 fail 0x800f0922

    I have the same problem:

I asked Windows Update to search for updates.

It found KB4476976 and KB4481031, downladed them, installed them, and asked for a restart.

At restart, 100% of updates installed, but, suddenly, a screen explaining it is impossible to finish updates, and updates are cancelled (I do not know the message in English; in french "impossible de terminer les mises jour - annulation des modifications").

First time, Windows Updates mentionned error 0x80070643 for KB4476976
    and 0x800f0922 for KB4481031.

Second and third time, 0x800f0922 for KB4476976 and KB4481031!

I will let you know if I have some news.
