Windows 10: W10 BSOD fails to post after power outage

Hi Everyone

I had the pc running pretty hard, F@H , during a power outage.

Since then it has never restarted, reverts to Recovery screen and Error code: 0xc0000221

I've disconnected all ssds and tried to install OS with new W10 disk.

even this results in same Recovery screen and error code.

Any ideas?

Many suggestions refer to possible hardware failures but I can't get W10 running to run tests, not even in safe mode.

Last resort will be unplugging components until it repairs/installs.

Anything else to try?

• Which browser are you using to check the passwords and favorites section? Provide the list of browsers where you encountered the concern.
• Have you tried using another account to verify if the programs are still missing on your program list?

There is a possibility that the drive index has been corrupted. We highly suggest that you check your hard drive and scan for errors by following these steps:

• Open This PC on File Explorer and locate your hard drive.
• Right-click and choose Properties.
• Under Tools tab, click on Check Now button.

After scanning the hard drive, hidden files and folders, as well as lost data can be restored.

Power outage when Using RBE

Okay so we have a problem.

PCI card is here Rage128pro 32mb *Laugh :laugh:

Steps;
Set bios to boot PCI-PCI-E-PCI-X

Boots without a problem with just pci
(here is the problem)
When plugged 5770 in With 6pin power i have no post, (all steps tried....)
When 6pin unpluged i get post??

with 6pin unpluged i get into dos i run atiflash -i but only get a listing from the ATIRagepro

Any Ideas?

Power Outage

Feellng is why most people beleive myths. The power supply can only do what the power controller tells it to do. Most do not even know that a controller exists - let alone know what it does. But numbers from the meter says which (of numerous) power 'system' components has failed.

Another perfect example of myths (due to insufficient knowledge) is that a power outage can cause a supply or motherboard damage. If true, then shutdown also causes damage. Most all parts of a computer never know that power is being removed until voltages slowly drop to zero. A power outage or shutdown look exactly same to those electronic parts. If a power outage causes hardware damage, then a shutdown also causes damage. Reality unknown to a majority who only 'feel'.

Your options are a simple two. Either keep replacing good parts until something works. Or take numbers with a meter to know what is defective before even disconnecting one wire.
