    W10 / DirectX 12 / 3d support


    Hi there

    When I run dxdiag via run on W10 (build 9926) (in a VM or as native) It shows 3d support and direct3d acceleration IS enabled even though VMware message says 3d support not available on the Host. W10 comes with DirectX 12 but I don't think it does anything yet.

    The video seems fine by me - I'd soon notice if video acceleration wasn't working.

    (VMware workstation 11 / player 7) - so Ignore the message if 3D worked with your previous release of VMware.

    I'm not sure though WHERE ms is going with directX these days -- maybe some gamers here could possibly chip in.

    Windows 10 Education support DirectX 12?

    I heard that Education Edition is not support DirectX 12. But in Onthehub's page, I can find the information that Education edition support DirectX 12. And many webpage said Education edition dxdiag screenshot with DirectX 12 support. Windows 10 Education

    Where i can find right link of downloading directx for windows 10

    You can only install Directx 12 if your hardware supports Directx 12

    W10 / DirectX 12 / 3d support

    I can't find any benchmark programs released for Dx12 yet, only that would be indication of the way it's implemented. Some newer video card manufacturers claim Dx10 compatibility but still no real HW implementation. Some claim remarkable graphic performance improvements (20-50%) in some of their benchmarks. Much lower power consumption is claimed too.
    What's funny is that most of those results are from before Dx12 got implemented in W10, I can't find anything current yet. All the benchmarks I've run, don't even recognize Dx12 but DX11.1 doesn't show any losses or gains on same HW.
