  1. W10 Initial Boot Fails, reverts to W7 - PS2?

In doing an In Place Upgrade to W10, the Initial Boot Fails.
I have eliminated every software related issue presented.
I have unplugged every non essential hardware device except the PS2 Keyboard, Mouse and Touch Screen Monitor.

Can PS2 devices prevent the Initial Boot?

I will try USB wired and or USB wireless if need be but right now that would be a guess.

I would like to know with assurance, why the Initial Boot is failing.

Please help if you have experience in this area.

    :)

  3. Dual boot W7 and W10 activation

    Yes indeed, media creation ISO.

what a nuisance, as I don,t trust the upgrade option, revert to w7 after loading my W10 to a fresh partition. Have read of people losing files doing it this way. Same motherboard and PC after all. Seem to have to jump through hoops to get the same result,
W7 on C and W10 on H, or where ever,

    Thanks,

  4. W10 Initial Boot Fails, reverts to W7 - PS2?

    Can't revert from W10 to W7

Hi. Sony don't have any updated drivers for Windows 10 on my laptop (bought with Windows 7 installed) nor do they intend to provide any. I've been on their website and they don't list my laptop never mind about drivers for it (Vaio VPCS11X9E running W7 Professional)

My problem is that in W10 my screen is very dark and difficult to work with. This is why I want to revert back to Windows 7. I understood that I could do this within a month but when I go to the 'revert' screen I get the message

'We're sorry but you can't go back. The files we need to take you back to a previous version of Windows were removed from this PC'

All I've done so far is follow the instructions! Help!

Will I have to do a clean rebuild? If so how do I get hold of a W7 system disc? I'm no geek and getting very worried...
